Case Study - Omega Gate for Corner Loading Platform

Client: Medicines Manufacturer

Requirement: Pallet gate for new mezzanine with clean room and external loading platform. Pallets 2000mm high

Problems:

The loading platform was quite small and had double opening doors tight up to side of loading edge

Solution:

Omega Standard model adapted with edge gate reversed into rear of side frames.  Frames mounted on brackets bolted to loading face of platform. This arrangement allowed clear side access through doorway for pallet trucks. The gate and additional side railing protects all personnel as whenever the edge gate is raised, the 'U' shaped inner gate protects the operator and prevents anyone coming into contact with moving loads.

This model is also very easy to operate, having a balanced gate system which negates operator fatigue.
