Case Study - Loading Large Loads onto Mezzanine Floor
Client: Fluorescent Tube Recycling Plant
Requirement: Loading very large stillages onto mezzanine floor
Problems:
Client had an existing fabicated pallet gate. Which, although seemed solidly built, it was very heavy to use and the open gate protruded over the edge. It was constantly being damaged by contact with the fork lift mast
The stillage loads were very wide and high.
Solution:
Supply and Installation of Delta space saving low headroom high load pallet gate. This disign does not protrude beyond the mezzanine edge when open.
Inside dimension 2880mm wide x 2800mm load height clearance x 2000mm depth
The all galvanised gate assembly assembly included full depth weld mesh screens to protect operatives.
With only 180mm difference between inside height and overall height it ensures optimum headroom is maintained
Gates gravity lock ensures it won't inadvertently open when not in use.
Design, manufacture, installation and testing provided by Dales’ in-house mezzanine barrier division.
