If you require something special, then a simple sketch or photos can often help. All of our gates are assembled and tested before despatch, so you can be confident that it will operate properly . Depending on size, some are even shipped completely assembled, bolted to a special pallet. More usually, they are partially dismantled for shipment. So far everyone of our gates shipped for simple installation by the client has been successfully installed and without us having to visit the site at all.

All you need to do is position the side frames, which are usually bolted or resin anchored to the floor and then you can assemble the gate element.  Depending on size, the gate element is either one piece or broken down into sections requiring just slotting together and tightening with an allen key.

As all of our gates are pre-assembled and tested by us, we can easily provide a photo sheet showing the assembly process.

We use galvanised components as standard with synthetic maintenance free bearings. For some very wide gates we sometimes use aluminium tube to reduce weight. Gates can be made in all aluminium or painted finish. Stainless steel finish is not available at this time.

Barrier System

The Mezz  construction system is based on a versatile range of quality galvanised malleable iron pipe fittings with a multitude of uses. Designed for easy, simple and fast erection of rigid structures by hand with the minimum of tools, fastclamp is a cost-effective and efficient system, particularly compared with traditional methods of construction such as welding, where specialist tools and extensive training and experience are required.

Mezz clamps are made from malleable cast iron manufactured in conformance with BS EN 1562:1997, a dependable and well-proven material for this type of product. The fittings are then hot-dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 to produce a durable corrosion resistant finished surface for extended life. For customising to specific end-user requirements, powder coating is available applied over the galvanising in a wide spectrum of RAL or BS colours on request. Quality stainless steel grub screws are utilised as standard toBS970 Grade 420, as these are a vital component in the high structural integrity of the fitting.  Each screw can support an axial load of 900 kgs when tightened to a torque of 40 Nm.
