Gate  is 1100mm high and is spanning doorway 2.27 metres wide and extends 1.8 metres back inside building behind ledge.

We can now offer this unique design for through-wall applications e.g. High level openings or narrow loading docks where loads must be positioned with the roller shutter door open. This is a solution to a common but potentially fatal dilemma as it offers all personnel working in and around the doorway complete protection when allowing forklift loading access to the high level floor.

The outer gate mechanism can be either bolted to face of the building with the gate positioned on a protruding ledge or the outer frame and gate mechanism stands bolted onto a loading dock.  The inner gate is positioned inside the door and bolted to the floor.  When lowered the inner gate forms an enclosure for the landing area, which protects personnel for falling from the opening and from injury by coming into contact with a moving load. Both gates have double wire rope drums mounted above each end on a drive shaft and the wire ropes travel through small clearance holes in wall to pulleys above the doorway.  The operation can either be hand chain or electric motor with optional radio control and optical safety strip protection.
